Footprints Family Foundation is governed by a multi-member volunteer Board of Directors, and operates as a Massachusetts nonprofit corporation. 

No officers or directors receive compensation. The organization maintains written policies governing family eligibility, provider participation, payment caps, financial controls, and conflicts of interest under the advisement and guidance of multiple integrity advisors and legal professionals to ensure accountability and compliance with public charity, 501(c)(3) nonprofit standards. 

By addressing both tuition costs and essential care needs, the Footprints Family Childcare Program strengthens families, supports providers, and contributes to healthier communities. The program recognizes childcare as essential infrastructure and invests in environments where children can grow safely, confidently, and with full and absolute dignity.
